Photovoltaic Power Systems

We plan the installation and assembly of electricity generating plants from photovoltaic panels connected to the network or isolated.

However, our focus tends to isolated systems.

The main applications of isolated systems are:

  • Electrification of homes and buildings, mainly for lighting and low-power appliances
  • Street lighting
  • agricultural and livestock applications
  • Pumping and water treatment
  • Phone antennas isolated network
  • Signaling and communications

The most commonly used configuration is composed of the photovoltaic generator, charge controller, battery and inverter, which converts the energy stored in batteries into alternating current, which is used for most applications.

For the calculation of such facilities, the design criteria are different. In installations connected to the grid, you try to maximize annual production, directing south and with the best possible inclination. Instead, for isolated facilities, the criterion should be to produce the most in the worst month, December, and so the rest of the year will be calculated with the energy needed for the worst month, always covering the needs.

Energy Storage

Today there are products mainly lithium ion batteries with a storage capacity of 3-15 kilowatts of electric power produced by solar panels for homes. In fact many of these products are already integrated electronically on a standalone pack.

This type of facilities will enable huge savings on the cost of the energy bill of households taking up very little space.

This "pack" is connected with photovoltaic solar panels on the roof of the house and converts solar energy to be used in housing, surplus energy is stored in batteries for use at night. This system also allows be configured to take advantage of a cheaper nightly rate. In fact, it is designed to allow the user to but independent of the network or at least reducing consumption by up to 80%.

All control of the energy produced and stored can be performed quickly and simply through a computer, tablet or smartphone and the calculation of the economic savings produced.

These facilities would reduce the carbon footprint of an average home by 60-90%, helping to mitigate the impact of climate change and the greenhouse effect.
